Tour Overview

An 8-day, 7-night motorbike adventure starting and ending in Nairobi: the Great Rift Valley escarpment, a boat ride and walking safari at Lake Naivasha's Sanctuary Farm, overnight at Lake Elementaita, the tea highlands of Kericho and Nandi Hills, the famous "Home of Champions" viewpoint at Iten with a Rift Valley descent via Kabarnet, an Ol Pejeta Conservancy game drive from Nanyuki, and the Castle Forest waterfalls on the slopes of Mt Kenya before returning to Nairobi via the Maasai Market. Ridden on the KTM 390 Adventure (2026).

Kenya's vibrant capital and East Africa's largest city, Nairobi sits at 1,795 m above sea level in the Great Rift Valley highlands. It is the starting and finishing point of the Kenya bike adventure, offering world-class dining, the famous Nairobi National Park on the city's edge, the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, and buzzing Westlands nightlife. The city blends modern infrastructure with its rich colonial history and dynamic street culture.

Nairobi → Lake Naivasha — Great Rift Valley & The Forest

A sparkling freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley, 90 km north-west of Nairobi at 1,884 m altitude. Famous for its diverse birdlife (over 400 species), hippos, and surrounding flower farms. Hells Gate National Park, one of Kenya's few parks where visitors can cycle freely among wildlife, borders the southern shore. Boat trips at dusk reveal hippo pods and fish eagles diving at sunset.
